Eloping traditionally meant running away to get married privately, quietly and usually in secret, often due to disapproval or urgency. Today, eloping often means exchanging vows with only a handful of people present as a preference, sometimes only in the presence of legal witnesses and the officiant with no audience at all or a small group of chosen friends or family. Eloping offers an alternative to the timelines, expectations, cost, or scale often associated with larger weddings. At Brick & Vow, we view elopement as something intimate in size and experience, deeply personal and deserving of a designed ceremony experience, while remaining centred on what matters most to the couple.

Not at this time. Brick & Vow focuses exclusively on the ceremony experience. We do offer curated recommendations for post-ceremony dining and celebrations from our preferred partner list, and can assist with reservations upon request.

For packages that include setup, we provide a curated ceremony space featuring an oak arch, premium silk and real-touch florals, along with a vintage signing table and seating---all arranged to create a beautiful and cohesive setting. Brick & Vow ceremonies are designed with a pre-selected, elegant, and timeless aesthetic in a neutral pallet from premium silk and real-touch florals, updated by season. If you prefer to arrange your own styling within a venue you’ve secured, we’re happy to provide officiating for smaller, private ceremonies where scheduling allows.

Yes. You’re welcome to include personal vows, and we’ll guide you through when to share them during the ceremony. Our ceremonies are non-denominational, but we’re happy to incorporate cultural, spiritual, religious, or symbolic elements at your request.

Absolutely. We would love to integrate your children into your ceremony. If you are interested in including a unity sand ceremony (for blended/step families) or family sand ceremony, please let us know in the space provided in your form at time of booking.Please note, minors cannot serve as legal witnesses. Your children will be in addition to you (the couple) and your two witnesses. To accommodate more than four people, please make sure you book our Party of Ten package.

Brick & Vow welcomes and celebrates couples of all identities, orientations, cultures, and backgrounds. Every ceremony is approached with care, respect, and intention. If there are important personal details we can add to your ceremony, please don't hesitate to let us know.

Yes, where permitted. Some locations restrict pets, so if this is important to you, we’ll help you choose a suitable setting.

The ceremony itself takes between 20 and 30 minutes, depending on personal vows and any additional practices couples request to have included. We schedule an hour to ensure we have time to prepare couples with an overview, to review documents and answer questions, and make sure couples feel prepared. We guide everything from arrival through to the final signing and for those with keepsake packages, we also take a few memento photos. The entire process feels smooth, relaxed, and unrushed and completed within an hour.
